Cheroot holder

Bohemia, 1900–1905

Hot-spring deposits. Finely carved head of an elaborately coiffed woman, with wavy curls in the front and a string of pearls and two flowers on the sides. A funnel-shaped bowl emerges from the top of her head. In the back, the woman’s hair is curled into volutes and rest against a branch with three flowers and an icy wild rosebud. Curved amber stem. Stored in a brown leather étui lined with white silk and printed with the name of the company.
